Mercury Prize Collection.
I’ve been a fan of the mercury prize awards for years, the first one I ever watched was the year Alt-J won and they used the prize money to pay for their tour bus. It was the moment I realised that not all bands were loaded, and packed off to tour the world by their labels just because I listened to their tracks on Soundcloud. A true reality check for 12 year old me. Ever since, I’ve watched the award show every year.
During my final year at university, I redesigned the album covers from my favourite Mercury Prize winners from the past 10 years.
